The funeral of the woman, who died of corona virus in Delhi's Rammanohar Lohia Hospital, got mired in controversy in the morning. However, he was later cremated in the presence of doctors. The 68-year-old woman, a resident of Delhi's Janakpuri, was confirmed for infection last Thursday after which she was admitted to the RML hospital in critical condition. According to doctors, the woman had BP and hypertension. The female patient died on Friday night at 8 pm.

According to the information, when the family reached Nigambodh Ghat located in Yamuna Bazar to perform the last rites of her body, the problem came about how to do the last rites of the woman.

According to sources, the employee of the ghat had said that the funeral of this woman should be done by electric combustion. He was also saying that the doctors who have come with the dead body also say that the funeral cannot be done in any other way. The rite (electric combustion) of this method takes place at the Lodhi Road crematorium.

Let us tell that the family wanted the funeral of the woman to be performed in some way, including the CNG cremation. But the staff of the ghat said that till they will be told in solid or written manner, how to let that rite take place.

It is said that due to this dispute, the funeral of the woman had stopped in the morning and the doctors accompanying her were talking to their senior, while the staff of the ghat was calling the MCD commissioner. Sources also say that the senior officials of the Ghat were also engaged in talking to the Health Ministry.

Later, when all the confusion was over, the woman was cremated via electric combustion. At the time of the funeral, along with the family, doctors were also present so that no obstruction in any procedure should be done and no negligence should be taken.
