India today reports another case of coronovirus, which has 31 confirmed total cases. Uttam Nagar resident Delhi has today tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The patient has a history of travel to Thailand and Malaysia, confirmed the Union Ministry of Health. The latest case is the third in Delhi.
"A suspected COVID19 case has been confirmed. The patient is from Delhi. She has a history of travel to Thailand and Malaysia. She is stable and is being monitored. The total number of confirmed cases in India is now 31. . " A ministry official said a middle-aged man from Ghaziabad tested positive for coronavirus disease on Thursday.
Positive cases of coronovirus include a resident of Mayur Vihar in Delhi and his six relatives from Agra, whom he had met recently. There is another Paytm employee who works in Gurgaon and lives in West Delhi. All of them are undergoing coronovirus treatment at Safdarjung Hospital.
The Union Health Ministry on Thursday asked the states to form rapid response teams at the district, block and village level, explaining the matters of community broadcasting. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan asked private hospitals in Delhi-NCR region to join hands with government hospitals to fight this global epidemic.
According to the Health Ministry statement, a total of 35 laboratories have been identified for the collection and testing of coronavirus cases of samples. The number of such laboratories will be increased to more than 100.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that as the number of coronovirus cases in India increased, the government has also decided to screen all international flights and passengers. The Central Government has also made COVID-19 free certificate mandatory for travelers from Italy and South Korea.
According to a PTI report, a person from Raipur, who returned to India from Kenya via Dubai, also showed coronovirus symptoms. She is placed under home quarantine.
