After OPPO, Xiaomi has now confirmed Android 11 beta 1 for Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro flagship smartphones. However, an exact timeline hasn’t been revealed yet. For those unaware, Google released Android 11 beta 1 update to Pixel phones late yesterday. It brings three new themes: People, Controls and Permissions. The former clubs all the conversations across multiple messaging apps and are moved to the top portion in the notification section. It also introduced new Bubbles feature that lets you add a pop-up for a conversation and responding quickly without switching back and forth between apps. Gboard in Android 11 now brings relevant and automatic suggestions for emoji and text. The media controls are now moved within the quick settings panel.

Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro specifications

To recall, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro sport the same 6.67-inch full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout, 1,080 × 2,340 pixels resolution, an in-display fingerprint sensor, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Both are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB storage. Android 10 OS with MIUI 11 custom skin takes care of the software side of things. As for the battery, the regular Mi 10 houses a 4,780mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging support, while the Mi 10 Pro gets a smaller 4,500mAh battery with a faster 50W fast charging.

The regular Mi 10 features a quad-rear camera consisting of a 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX primary sensor, dual 2MP sensors, a 13MP wide-angle lens, and an LED flash. While the Mi 10 Pro has the same 108MP main camera, a 12MP short telephoto lens, an 8MP long telephoto lens and a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, both have a 20MP snapper for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ Galileo, and USB Type-C port.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 price in India is Rs 49,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and Rs 54,999 8GB + 256GB variants, respectively.
