Highlights
  • Motorola One Fusion+ India launch confirmed to happen soon
  • Key specifications of the phone include the Snapdragon 730 SoC, 64MP quad cameras, and 5,000mAh battery

Motorola One Fusion+ will launch in India soon, the company confirmed via its social media account on Twitter. This is in line with our exclusive report back in April where we mentioned the Motorola phone would launch in India by the end of Q2 2020. The smartphone was announced in Europe earlier this week highlighting a pop-up selfie camera. The Motorola One Fusion+ India launch teaser does not specify the name of the phone explicitly, but it shows an outline of a phone with a pop-up camera and the hashtag #UltimateOne. The Motorola One Fusion+ specifications include the Snapdragon 730 SoC, 5,000mAh battery and 64MP quad camera, among other things.

Motorola One Fusion will launch in India with a mid-range price tag. The price of the 6GB RAM variant with 128GB storage in the European market is EUR 299 (roughly Rs 25,400). The Motorola One Fusion+ price in India should be in the same ballpark, but we hope to see a more aggressive pricing so that the phone can take on the POCO X2 under Rs 20,000.

Motorola One Fusion+ sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display and a pop-up selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage with support for storage expandability up to 1TB via microSD card. The Motorola One Fusion+ runs on near stock Android 10 and is equipped with a hybrid dual SIM slot and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Motorola One Fusion+ quad camera setup includes a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The pop-up camera mechanism houses a 16MP selfie sensor. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
