Realme 6 was launched back in March this year and instantly became a popular choice for consumers in the mid-range segment due to its impressive specifications for the price. Now, we have received exclusive information from popular tipster Ishan Agarwal that the brand is all set to launch a new 6GB RAM+64GB storage variant of the smartphone in India. As per the information available with us, the new Realme 6 model will be made available in Comet Blue and Comet White colours. Unfortunately, we do not have any information regarding the new variant’s price in the country.
Realme 6 specifications and price in India
Realme 6 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole design and a 90Hz refresh rate. Despite the recent price hike, the handset is still the most affordable offering from any brand with 90Hz display refresh rate in India. The Realme 6 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. In terms of optics, you get a rear-facing quad camera setup with a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor, assisted by an 8MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP mono lens.
Coming to the battery capacity, the Realme 6 features a 4,300mAh cell with 30W VOOC fast charging support. Currently, if you want to buy the 4GB RAM variant of the Realme 6 in India, you will have to shell out Rs 14,999. The variants with 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage, are retailing at Rs 16,999 and Rs 17,999, respectively.
