POCO seems to be gearing up to launch yet another rebranded phone in India. A POCO phone with model number M2006C3MI, which was tipped to a rebrand of Redmi 9C, had recently bagged BIS and TÃœV Rheinland certifications. Now, thanks to the Bluetooth SIG certification, we know the handset will be called POCO C3. The ‘I’ at the end of the model number hints that it could be the Indian variant of the Redmi 9C (M2006C3MG). The Bluetooth SIG listing suggests it will have Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. This suggests the POCO C3 India launch could be right around the corner. Beyond this listing, not much else is known about the POCO C3. But if it is indeed a rebranded Redmi 9C, then here’s what we  know.

Redmi 9C specifications

To recall, the Redmi 9C sports a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with 1,600×720 and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with the HyperEngine technology and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It packs 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card and it boots Android 10 OS with MIUI 11 custom skin on top. The Redmi 9C has triple camera setup at the back with a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. There is a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a physical fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and micro USB port. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery.

Separately, alongside the POCO C3, a new Redmi phone, dubbed as Redmi 9AT has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification. It could be a variant of the recently launched Redmi 9A. However, the rest of the specifications of the handset aren’t clear at the moment but we should know more details going forward.
