Air India Express announces Rs 10 lakh compensation to family of deceased

Air India Express will be paying a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the next kin of the deceased passenger, said an Air India official. In case of deceased passengers below the age of 12 years, the airline will pay Rs 5 lakh as compensation. The airline has also announced a Rs 2 lakh compensation for critically injured passenger and Rs 50K to passengers injured in the accident.
