The tipster has shared a series of screenshots of a OnePlus proprietary source code, which mentions different processors that could power upcoming smartphones. It includes the name of the chipset SM4250, which is the Snapdragon 460 SoC. Meanwhile, processors like the Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 855, and the Snapdragon 765G are also mentioned in the source code, but OnePlus has already launched smartphones powered by these chipsets.

A separate tweet by @Boby25846908 claims that OnePlus will launch a phone by the end of September, which will powered by either Snapdragon 662 or Snapdragon 665. The tweet adds that the smartphone might cost between Rs 16,000 ($213) and Rs 18,000 ($240) in the Indian market. We cannot verify the authenticity of this leak so it would be wise to take it with a pinch of salt.
Recently, a mysterious OnePlus smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench certification site codenamed ‘Clover’. The smartphone was listed with the dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and Android 10. It managed to score 336 points in single-core and 1,495 in multi-core tests. So far, this is all we know about the upcoming affordable OnePlus smartphones at the moment.
