Nokia 5.3 is set to launch in India later today but it seems the official Nokia India website has inadvertently leaked the price of the smartphone ahead of the official announcement. The Nokia 5.3 price in India is listed as Rs 13,999 and it is most likely for the base variant with 4GB RAM. We expect a 6GB RAM variant to be available as well, although the website does not mention the price for the high-end option. The accidental Nokia 5.3 India price reveal confirms that the phone will be competing against the likes of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Realme 6, Samsung Galaxy M11, and Moto G9 under Rs 15,000.

The Nokia 5.3 is expected to be announced later today as the company is holding a media briefing at 10 AM. In addition to the Nokia 5.3, HMD Global may announce the launch of a few more budget Nokia phones, although details about them are slim at the moment.
Originally announced in March, the Nokia 5.3 touts a premium design language with a waterdrop display at the front and a matt finish rear panel that comes in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal colour options. The Nokia 5.3 offers a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Nokia 5.3 features a circular camera module at the back that includes a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. At the front, the Nokia 5.3 gets an 8MP selfie camera. The handset packs a 4,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.
