OnePlus Nord was supposed to go on sale for the first time today i.e Tuesday, August 4th. The company had revealed at the time of the launch that the OnePlus Nord 8GB + 128GB variant would be available first on August 4th, but it seems OnePlus has quietly changed the date. Now, both the 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM variants of the smartphone will be available on open sale on Thursday, August 6th via OnePlus’ online store and Amazon India. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM variant will go on sale sometime in September.
OnePlus Nord will be on open sale starting 12am IST on August 6th. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 27,999 while the 12GB + 256GB option will be available for Rs 29,999. Notably, OnePlus is offering customers Rs 2000 off on purchasing the device using an American Express card. The OnePlus Nord comes in Blue Marble and Grey Onyx colour options.
The OnePlus Nord sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400p) Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset, which is equipped with a 5G modem. The Nord comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It runs on Android 10 with the latest OxygenOS skin on top.
The latest mid-range OnePlus phone features a quad camera setup that includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, the phone gets a 32MP main camera and 8MP wide-angle lens. The OnePlus Nord houses a 4,115mAh battery and supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS/ GLONASS/ Galileo, and Type-C port.
