Vivo S7 has been launched in China as the first in the series to come with 5G connectivity. The handset is the successor to Vivo S5 that made its debut last year. The all-new Vivo S7 comes with mid-range specifications and a traditional wide notch display, instead of punch-hole cutout or waterdrop notch, to house 44MP dual selfie cameras. Other key Vivo S7 specifications include 64MP triple cameras, Snapdragon 765G SoC, and 33W fast charging support.

Vivo S7 price, availability

Vivo S7 price in China is set at RMB 2,798, which roughly translates to Rs 31,000 in the Indian currency for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The phone also comes in a 256GB storage option, which costs RMB 3,098 (approx Rs 33,000). The Vivo S7 will go on sale in the country from August 8th in Gradient Blue, Jazz Black and Moonlight White colours.

Coming to the Vivo S7 specifications, the handset sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio and slim bezels. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, which is coupled with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage onboard. The handset houses a 4,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Software-wise, the Vivo S7 runs FunTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10 out of the box. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and connectivity options such as 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C.

At the back, the Vivo S7 packs a triple camera setup in a rectangular module. The camera system includes a 64MP (f/1.89) primary camera, an 8MP 119-degree (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) mono sensor. The selfie camera setup includes a 44MP autofocus Samsung GH1 (f/2.0) main sensor and an 8MP 105-degree (f/2.28) ultra-wide secondary snapper. The cameras also support 4K 60fps video and have EIS stabilization. Lastly, the Vivo S7 measures 158.82mm × 74.2mm × 7.39mm and weigh 184 grams.
