Local hiring shield against H-1B rules: TCS

TCS said the ratio of its local workforce in the US and other geographies to employees on a work visa is almost equally split. Five years ago, the former was significantly lower. The change will help the company weather the recent decision of the Trump administration to hike minimum wage requirements and narrow the definition of speciality occupation for H-1B visas.
