Sensex rises over 300 points amid close US presidential race; Nifty above 11,900

Equity indices moved higher on Wednesday tracking gains in IT stocks and ahead of the US presidential elections outcome. The benchmark BSE sensex jumped over 300 points in early trade; while the broader NSE Nifty traded a tab above 11,900-mark.
