Flight of fancy: SpiceJet cooks up audit story

After low-cost carrier SpiceJet, until recently under enhanced surveillance of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) over safety concerns, claimed last week it had passed with flying colours an audit conducted by none other than the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the latter clarified Tuesday that it has not audited any airline.
