Germany's foreign minister, Annalena Baerbock, has been delayed in Abu Dhabi after a mechanical issue with her government plane. The Airbus A340 was forced to return to the UAE capital after a refuelling stop en route to Australia. It is the latest in a series of technical problems to blight government planes, some of which are ageing.
