Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 has been in the rumour mill for quite some time and as we inch closer to the launch, more details are starting to surface online. The Galaxy Fold 2 will have a battery setup similar to the original Galaxy Fold, meaning it would arrive with two separate batteries. According to the screenshots posted by @_the_tech_guy on Twitter, probably sourced from a regulatory, the Galaxy Fold 2 will feature a 2,275mAh main battery and a 2,090mAh secondary unit, for a combined capacity of 4,365mAh. This is down from the 4,380mAh on the Galaxy Fold, which had a combination of 2,135mAh and 2,245mAh. This suggests the Galaxy Fold 2 will have similar dimensions as the original model. Furthermore, the Galaxy Fold 2 is rumoured to be using LTPO backplane technology for its display, this may offer 15-20 percent better energy management.

According to earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 may come with S-Pen support and reportedly feature triple cameras at the back with a 64 primary sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor and a 12MP lens with dual-optical image stabilisation. The foldable is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU. It is said to sport a 7.59-inch internal display with 1,689 x 2,213-pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout in the top right corner. The cover display will have a 6.23-inch size with 819 x 2,267 pixels resolution and a traditional 60Hz panel.

Reports suggest the Galaxy Fold 2 will arrive with improved design and more refined hardware. Despite all this, the foldable is said to cost $1,800 (approx Rs 136,450), which is $100 (around Rs 7,580) cheaper than the original Galaxy Fold. It will be available in at least Black and Brown colours, but there could be other models at launch.
