Samsung will launch its mid-range Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in India on June 8th, the company has revealed via its social media account. The tablet will go on sale on Amazon India and will be up for pre-orders on launch day. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was officially announced in April touting specifications such as a 10.4-inch display, S Pen support, up to 13 hours of battery life and Dolby Atmos sound, among other things. The Tab S6 Lite price in India will be revealed on Monday.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite price in the US is $349.99 (approx Rs 26,500) for the 64GB Wi-Fi-only model. The 128GB variant costs $429.99 (approx Rs 32,500). This gives us an idea of what the tablet will cost in India. It will, of course, be much more affordable than the Galaxy Tab S6 flagship tablet that was launched in India in October, priced at Rs 59,990.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite sports a 10.4 WUXGA+ (2000×1200) display with slim bezels and no home button or branding on the front. The tablet is powered by the 2.3GHz Exynos 9611 chipset, which is the same SoC powering the Samsung Galaxy M31. This is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage with support for storage expandability up to 1TB via a microSD card. There is no word yet on which storage model will be coming to India.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite specifications include an 8MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, dual AKG-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and an S Pen that comes in the box. The tablet houses a 7,040mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 13 hours of battery life. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C. The tablet measures 244.5×154.3×7.0mm and weighs 465 grams.
