Pulitzer Prize-winning author Viet Thanh Nguyen claimed that a Jewish organization in New York City canceled his reading without explanation, a day after he signed an open letter condemning Israel's actions in Gaza. The event was scheduled to take place at the 92nd Street Y literary center. Nguyen learned about the cancellation at 3 pm on the day of the event and stated that no reason was given.
